The Ink Business Premier® credit card from Chase offers a wide range of benefits and rewards that make it an appealing option for business owners and entrepreneurs. In this article, we will provide you with all the necessary information about this credit card so that you can make an informed decision if you choose to apply for it.

There are several reasons why the Ink Business Premier credit card is a card that should be considered by Business owners. The current welcome offer is $1,000 cash back after spending $10,000 on purchases in the first three months from your card activation date. Additional features include:

  • 5% cash back per $1 on travel purchased through Chase TravelSM
  • 2.5% cash back on all purchases $5,000 or more. This equals to $250 cash back on purchases of $10,000.
  • 2% cash back on all other business purchases.
  • Additional employee cards available at no extra cost.
  • 5% cash back on Lyft rides. This benefit ends March, 2025.

Redeeming Points For Travel

Unfortunately, Points earned on purchases are unable to be moved to other Chase credit cards. Additionally, Ink Business premier cardholders cannot transfer points to any Chase travel partners. If you are looking for more flexibility in travel redeeming options, personal cards from Chase like the Chase Sapphire Preferred or Reserve credit cards may suit your needs.

Final Thoughts

The 2.5% cash back on each purchase of $5,000 or more as well as the extended warranty protection is an attractive feature of this card — as is the 5% earned on travel booked through Chase. The auto rental & collision damage insurance is also a nice perk and should not be overlooked, since it covers the entire cash value of the vehicle. It’s clear that the Ink Business Premier credit card may not be the best option for everyone. A glaring disadvantage of this business card is the lack of flexibility it offers for transferring points to travel partners. However, the Ink Business Premier credit card stands out as an appealing option for business owners due to the 2% cash back option, providing them with additional cash they can use to grow their business.
