Delta Unveils Third MSP Sky Club Lounge

Delta customers flying through Minneapolis-Saint Paul (MSP) can now unwind and rejuvenate in a newly opened, nature-themed sanctuary situated on the top floor of the newly expanded G concourse.

The third Club at the airport adds over 21,000 square feet of space to Delta’s collection of lounges, establishing it as the largest at Delta’s Minneapolis hub. The G concourse MSP Sky Club is the second lounge launched this year by Delta, and marks the third consecutive new venue in the Midwest — succeeding those in Chicago and Kansas City.

This new Sky Club at MSP accommodates over 450 guests and features eco-friendly practices with over 90% waste diversion (waste is diverted from landfills via recycling or composting). Inspired by Minnesota’s “land of 10,000 lakes,” the lounge boasts a rich color palette and includes a year-round, all-weather Sky Deck with 110 seats, open-air elements, a living plant wall, and multiple bars.

“We continue to raise the bar with every location we open, and the new MSP Club is no exception. Our goal was to create a space that reflects the natural beauty of the Great Lakes region, transporting and inspiring customers through the Club’s design, all while delivering a full suite of amenities and our signature hospitality.”

The MSP-G Sky Club features a menu with fresh, locally sourced ingredients and recipes from Bravo’s Top Chef alum Justin Sutherland as part of the Local Flavor program. Delta’s partnership with the Top Chef World All-Stars allows guests to enjoy Justin’s contemporary Southern cuisine through mid-July.

Additional amenities include:

  • Three self check-in kiosks
  • Full buffet
  • Two premium bars
  • Three soundproof work booths.

Sky Clubs, and airport lounges in general, have become very crowded recently and any expansion is certainly a welcome development for frequent flyers.
