Marriott & MGM Launch ‘MGM Collection with Bonvoy’

Marriott International and MGM Resorts International have partnered in a long-term strategic licensing agreement to create the “MGM Collection with Marriott Bonvoy”. This venture will feature 17 MGM resorts, representing over 40,000 rooms across the U.S., and will officially launch in October 2023. This will also mark the end of the agreement between MGM and Hyatt Hotels and Resorts, World of Hyatt.

Marriott’s digital platforms will soon allow guests to book rooms at several MGM resorts, with the entire roster expected to be available by year-end. Simultaneously, both companies’ loyalty program members will benefit from this alliance. MGM Rewards members can link their accounts to Marriott Bonvoy to enjoy select member benefits. In turn, Marriott Bonvoy members can earn and redeem points for stays at all MGM Collection with Marriott Bonvoy properties.

Four MGM properties will also align with existing Marriott brands with Bellagio Resort & Casino joining The Luxury Collection, ARIA Resort & Casino and The Cosmopolitan linking with the Autograph Collection, and Park MGM becoming part of the Tribute Portfolio. Additionally, eight Las Vegas-based MGM resorts and five others in various U.S. locations will also join the new initiative as part of the new MGM Collection.

Both loyalty programs aim to unlock significant benefits and experiences for their members. Furthermore, Marriott International has signed a loyalty marketing agreement with BetMGM to make Marriott Bonvoy its exclusive hospitality loyalty program partner in the U.S. and Canada. This partnership is set to offer Bonvoy members opportunities to earn points on certain BetMGM transactions and participate in exclusive games and offers. More details about these collaborations will be shared in the coming months.
