Welcome to Whitefish, Montana. If you’re new to Whitefish and visiting for the first time, you’re likely in for an adventure. This picturesque mountain town is a place to both relax and explore — from stunning natural beauty to adventure opportunities, Whitefish has something for everyone. Last February was my first time visiting, and while it may seem like a small town, it packs a big punch.

Tupelo Grille is a popular spot that serves up delicious steak dishes, along with an incredible wine selection to pair it with. If you’re really looking for something special, Whitefish’s Italian restaurant Abruzzo was a pleasant surprise. All pasta is made in house, the service was excellent and the dishes were amazing. If you’re looking for something a bit more casual, Whitefish also has plenty of options. The Great Northern Bar and Grill is a restaurant that serves up classic pub grub with an extensive beer list to match. Another popular ski bar and one of my personal favorites is the Bierstub located at the base of the resort. With its cozy atmosphere and delicious eats, Bierstub is the perfect spot to get together with friends and enjoy a good time.
Skiing at Whitefish Mountain Resort is an experience like no other. Ski the best powder, glades, and chutes that Montana has to offer. Big Mountain’s 3,000-plus acres of terrain has offerings for all levels of skiers. Take advantage of the free shuttle services to get around town or up to the Resort for your Ski adventure. Spend the day on the slopes or explore Whitefish with its quaint shops and restaurants. Skiing in Whitefish, Montana promises a memorable experience every time you come.

Just remember to bring along a camera – you won’t want to miss out on capturing these stunning views and abundant wildlife this area has to offer.
