Frontier has announced an overhaul to their Frontier Miles program to launch in January 2024. They’re making some big changes to earning miles and elite status. They’re adding an additional elite status tier at 10K miles and removing change/cancel fees (seven+ days from departure) for all elite members. But, it’s not all good news — in keeping with the industry’s tendency to copy each others moves and the shift toward revenue-base earning, milage earning is going from the number of miles you fly to being based on the amount of money you spend.

Something to note is that from now until the changes are implemented, you’ll continue to earn one mile for every mile you fly and ten miles per dollar spent with Frontier.
